As you know the County has altered the status quo regarding,amomg other
things, health imsurance.
As a result the employees are being deprived of health insurance options
that they would have received if the County had complied with its duty to
maintain the status quo.
Accordingly, and in light of the Countys failure to comply with its legal
obligation, the Union reserves the right to seek make whole relief,damages caused of the County,s failure to provide the health insurance options to its employees to which the employees are entitled.
Futhermore,employees participating in the insurance enrollment are doing so
under protest.

There is still one opening that needs to be filled on the Executive Board
The openings is the Recording Secretary position which has been previously posted is still unfilled
Theresa Perkins has assumed the Financial Secretary duties.
If no one is interested in the Recording Secretary position, several options will be presented to the membership
